366 of 2012 - Day 96. Purple Hyacinth. This is a volunteer (or rather a stray bulb) in our backyard and comes up every year, no matter how much I neglect it.

Taken with my Canon PowerShot G12, f/3.5, 1/160 sec., ISO-800, 14 mm focal length, no flash, camera hand held. This is a SOOC (straight out of the camera) shot. Cropped for size and added text in Photoshop.
