366 of 2012 - Day 244

366 of 2012 - Day 244. Tibboh the Terrible. She's a wonderful fuzzy companion.

Taken with my Canon PowerShot G12 - f/4, 1/125 sec., ISO-640, camera hand held, no flash, shot indoors. Cropped (and resized), added text, applied Unsharp Mask, and applied High Pass filter around Tibboh's eyes and nose with Photoshop.

366 of 2012 - Day 243

366 of 2012 - Day 243. Tibboh the Terrible. I can't begin to explain what a spaz this cat is. Trying to get photos of her is like trying to get photos of a... well a totally insane feline bent on havoc and mayhem and whose purpose in life is to make you nuts by not cooperating in any way.

Taken with my Canon PowerShot G12 - f/4, 1/125 sec., ISO-500, camera hand held, no flash, shot indoors. Cropped (and resized), added text, applied Unsharp Mask, High Pass filter around Tibboh's eyes, adjusted Exposure and Levels with Photoshop.

366 of 2012 - Day 242

366 of 2012 - Day 242. Tibboh the Terrible. The joy of adding Tibboh to my little family (I was single at the time) was that now I had black cat fur AND white/orange cat fur all over my house.

Taken with my Canon PowerShot G12 - f/4, 1/250 sec., ISO-800, camera hand held, no flash, shot indoors. Cropped (and resized), added text, applied Unsharp Mask and High Pass filter around Tibboh's eyes and nose with Photoshop.

366 of 2012 - Day 241

366 of 2012 - Day 241. Tibboh the Terrible. When I brought Tibboh home, I was very concerned about how my first cat, Hobbit, would handle it. Hobbit was known, far and wide, as being a nasty 5 lb black cat of terror. She wasn't impressed with me, but very quickly assumed the roll of 'big sister'. Even though Tibboh outgrew her in a few months, Hobbit was always dominant and seemed to enjoy the fuzzy company.

Taken with my Canon PowerShot G12 - f/2.8, 1/20 sec., ISO-1000, camera hand held, no flash, shot indoors. Cropped (and resized), added text, applied Unsharp Mask around Tibboh's nose with Photoshop.

366 of 2012 - Day 240

366 of 2012 - Day 240. Tibboh the Terrible. Tibbs was born to a ferral Manx momma (no tail) who had given birth to a litter in the backyard of a coworker's buddy. My coworker took the mother and one of the kittens, I took Tibbs and the lady who introduced me to Wonko took another kitten from the litter.

Taken with my Canon PowerShot G12 - f/2.8, 1/50 sec., ISO-800, camera hand held, no flash, shot indoors. Cropped (and resized), added text, applied Unsharp Mask around Tibboh's nose with Photoshop.

366 of 2012 - Day 238

366 of 2012 - Day 238. Tibboh the Terrible. Tibboh is my second cat. Her name is 'Hobbit', backwards. Hobbit (aka Wee Hobbit McNasty) was my first cat and she was 5 lbs of black, furry, terror! Tibboh is a much larger, much more mellow kitty. She's getting on in age now, too. She is around 16 years old.

Taken with my Canon PowerShot G12 - f/4.5, 1/160 sec., ISO-320, camera hand held, no flash, shot outdoors. Cropped (and resized), added text, applied Unsharp Mask and High Pass Filter to eyes, adjusted Levels, Curves, and Brightness/Contrast with Photoshop.

366 of 2012 - Day 232

366 of 2012 - Day 232. We have this fancy shower head in our main bathroom. I think it must reduce water usage or something because it's much like being dribbled on, though you have your choice of cold or hot dribbles.

366 of 2012 - Day 229. This is my wedding ring, and the band that Wonko bought for me when I was hugely pregnant with Weeb and my swollen ring finger would no longer comfortably sport my wedding ring (I now wear the band on one of my thumbs).

Taken with my Canon PowerShot G12 - f/4, 1/320 sec., ISO-250, camera hand held. Cropped (and resized), added text, applied Unsharp Mask and High Pass Filter to diamonds only, with Photoshop.

366 of 2012 - Day 226

366 of 2012 - Day 226. Barbie has come a long way since I was a kid. She's had many careers and hobbies. And she's come a little bit closer to actual female dimensions (not quite there yet, but certainly an improvement from the 70's - the Barbie clothes my mother made for my dolls do not fit the newer dolls - the waist and hips are larger and the chest smaller). This Barbie (who has something to do with fashion, apparently) recommends sun screen and wants you to know that she's very self conscious about how thin she is, her lack of muscle tone and her unsightly joints. I suggested to Barbie that she can't be THAT self conscious about her 'unsightly joints' if she's happy to wear such short dresses, but she just smiled at me. Upon declaring 'picture time', my daughter gave me a look that Barbie would agree was less than lady like, so I am left with a smaller model than I had anticipated for this challenge. She's not as cute as Weeb, but she fidgets less!

Taken with my Canon PowerShot G12 - f/4, 1/1250 sec., ISO-160, camera hand held. Cropped (and resized), added text, applied Unsharp Mask and High Pass Filter, then slightly adjusted Levels with Photoshop.

366 of 2012 - Day 222

366 of 2012 - Day 222. When I was a young girl, in the 1970's, this was one of my very favorite toy sets. There's more to it, a pink highchair and bath and a pink apron that the mom doll was supposed to wear. I think there was a little wash cloth, too. It looks like a little Barbie baby, but I believe it was part of a doll set called 'The Sunshine Family'. I had an obsession with little things and this certain fit the criteria, and it worked very well with my Barbies. My mother kept a lot of my old toys so this now belongs to my daughter, who I am happy to say, shares the same obsession with tiny toys that I once had. Thanks Mom!

Taken with my Canon PowerShot G12 - f/2.8, 1/30 sec., ISO-640, camera hand held. Cropped (and resized), added text, applied Unsharp Mask with Photoshop.

366 of 2012 - Day 217

366 of 2012 - Day 217. I'm a crab; I pinch. Wonko was trying to point out this little guy to Weeb, today, while we were at the beach. Another little girl came and scooped it up and I was about to give her heck when she came closer to Weeb (who was nervous) and showed it to her, let her touch it and let me take some pictures while it crabbed about in her hand (which my daughter would NEVER have done). Heck averted. Crabby shot taken.

Taken with my Canon PowerShot G12 - f/4, 1/400 sec., ISO-250, camera hand held. Cropped (and resized), added text, adjusted Curves, applied Unsharp Mask and High Pass Filter with Photoshop.

366 of 2012 - Day 214

366 of 2012 - Day 214. With the new home, I get a new commute. And this new commute comes with frequent waits to get onto various highways. So what's more fun than pulling out your camera in traffic? We were at a full stop; I promise! This is a farm, of some kind. And some bushes. And the mountains. Ah, nothing more lovely than nature - surrounded by a load of grid locked traffic.

Taken with my Canon PowerShot G12 - f/4.5, 1/160 sec., ISO-125, camera hand held. Cropped, added text and adjusted Levels and Curves, then applied Unsharp Mask with Photoshop.
