52 of 2013 - Week 8

52 of 2013 - Week 8. Picaboo's theme for the week is 'Travel Photography'. My Focus 52 - Pixel Project theme is 'Simplify Your Images'. So the first image is my simplified shot. It's a dinosaur pin I wore years ago. I have quite an impressive pin collection, as it turns out. The other shots are my 'travel' shots. Where did I travel to? I went to visit my folks, a couple of cities away. That's about as far as I typically travel. I'm not a travel kinda gal. I love Snowdrops. Luckily, my folks have a wonderful display in their garden, at the moment.

52 of 2013 - Week 7

52 of 2013 - Week 7. Picaboo's theme for the week is 'Capturing Love'. My Focus 52 - Pixel Project theme is 'Smoke Photography'. The smoke photography was a difficult challenge and took me a long time, despite the wonderful aid of the hubby. Capturing love was easy. Finding time was not. Something about this time of year, maybe the weather, I just get the blahs and lose all interest and motivation. Ah well, we ended up with some decent shots. Funny how you can see shapes in smoke, like you can with clouds.

52 of 2013 - Week 6

52 of 2013 - Week 6. Picaboo's theme for the week is 'Tips For Using Shadows in Photography'. My Focus 52 - Pixel Project theme is 'Me and My Shadow'. Convenient! Weeb bought a Monster High doll with her very own money, this past weekend. She's bought things with her own money before, but we've never planned ahead and actually brought her money with us to the toy store. The doll she picked had this little creature in with it. Funny little fellow, eh? My thanks to my handsome hunny for helping me out with the lighting. Sometimes two arms and one brain is not enough.
