366 of 2012 - Day 173. Our challenge this week is to convert photos to black and white. This was shot in May, and I recently converted from color to black and white. I like the black and white, but I still like the color better.

AUGUST WEEDS

My love of weeds / wild flowers that are invading my back yard continues.

I thought these must be dandelion puffs at first, but then I noticed that all of them seem to have this same seed pattern of a few seeds making a star-like pattern, not a full puff.

Plus they aren't attached to dandelions.

I don't know what they are. But they're cool.
