52 of 2014 - Week 52

52 of 2014 - Week 52

Theme is the Best of 2014. Weeb is always my best of. And this certainly sums up our year - ignoring me while on her iPod.

52 of 2014 - Week 51

52 of 2014 - Week 51

Theme is 'Some of My Favorite Things'.  Easy.  Weeb.

52 of 2014 - Week 50

52 of 2014 - Week 50

Theme is Bokeh.  I've never been able to do a decent bokeh with my point and shoot.  I suspect that has more to do with my lack of skills than my camera.  So here's a Weeb, instead.

52 of 2014 - Week 42

52 of 2014 - Week 42

Theme is Black and White. Last week was Fall Colors, and what says 'fall' more than Canadian Thanksgiving confetti on our table?

52 of 2014 - Week 41

52 of 2014 - Week 41

Theme is Fall Colors. Fall colors obviously means that Halloween is coming. Blood is a color, right?  Weeb likes a little editing, too.

52 of 2014 - Week 16

52 of 2014 - Week 16

Theme is Water. However, Easter Weeb demanded center stage, instead.

52 of 2014 - Week 07

52 of 2014 - Week 07

Theme was Camouflage, but this better suits the previous week's theme of Capturing Valentine's Day. My little Valentine with her little Valentine on Valentine's Day, at school. The heart wants what it wants.

EASTER 2013

EASTER 2013 - Happy Easter, all! Hoping the Spring and the Bunny are/were good to you!

52 of 2013 - Week 1

52 of 2013 - Week 1. Last year, I did a daily photo challenge with Picaboo, on Facebook. They have a new challenge this year, but it's weekly, which suits me, because the daily thing was too much and I found my hobby becoming a chore. Picaboo's theme for the week is 'Glitter'. My photo buddies from 2012 started a group called 'Focus 52 - Pixel Project' and the theme there is 'Newness + Watch Your Background'. I suspect I'll try and merge the two themes through this year. This is a little snowman snow globe that is at my mother's house. I love this thing! The 'snow' is all glittery and it's so pretty! I had bought a couple of them a few years ago and hers didn't work properly, so we gave her ours. It's one of my favorite Christmas decorations and I can't think of a better place for it to be, than in my parents' wonderful home. They made Christmas magical for me and continue to do it for my daughter. The reason I love Christmas is because of my amazing parents.

366 of 2012 - Day 366

366 of 2012 - Day 366. Most of the people I love the most. I should have done a ton differently with this photo, too, but when you have this many people, the very fact that they're all looking in the same direction is impressive! I love you guys! Happy New Year! 2012 was pretty awesome - hoping 2013 is even more-so!

366 of 2012 - Day 357. Walking to school in the snow. I took this a couple of days ago. As you may know, I take this 'photo a day' rule rather loosely.
