52 of 2013 - Week 5

52 of 2013 - Week 5. Picaboo's theme for the week is 'Capturing a Day in the Life: Tips For Black & White Photography'. My Focus 52 - Pixel Project theme is 'Picture Style / What You Are Reading'. I do love Greek Mythology. I think the darker gods get a bad rap; most of the Greek and Roman gods were pretty horrible to each other, and to humans. Fun stuff!

366 of 2012 - Day 338

366 of 2012 - Day 338. I decided I had a ton of free time in December and I would join another photography project. This one is run by I Heart Faces. I'm going to try and combine their daily theme with Picaboo's weekly photo challenge. Let's see how it works. Today is "WHAT I'M READING". I'm not reading anything, at the moment. So here is a snap shot of a few of my favorites on the book shelf next to me.

366 of 2012 - Day 322

366 of 2012 - Day 322. My parents have a Buddha in their living room. I'm not sure what it's made of, but it's dark greenish and I've always loved it. When I moved out on my own, they found one that is very similar, but made of concrete and it now sits on our lower stairway.

366 of 2012 - Day 31

366 of 2012 - Day 31. My father made this little clock for me. He used a watch face for the time piece. I love it. Our theme this week is morning and though this isn't a sunrise, it is what I see in the morning on the bookshelf across from my bed. It's part of my morning routine; it's part of my sanctuary.

Taken with my Canon PowerShot G12 on Auto (I know, I know...) - f/2.8, 1/30 sec., ISO-400, 6 mm focal length, max aperture 2.96875, pattern metering, no flash. Unsharp Mask, High Pass Filter applied, Levels and Curves adjusted, cropping and text added in Photoshop.
