366 of 2012 - Day 151. I know, you're thinking, show me something creepy from your house, Yash! Sure, I can do that. And I want you to know that this little gargoyle statue didn't creep me out until I'd taken about 10 photos of it today.

Taken with my Canon PowerShot G12, f/2.8, 1/20 sec., ISO-1600, no flash, camera hand held, shot indoors. Edited with PicMonkey and Photoshop.

366 of 2012 - Day 150

366 of 2012 - Day 150. If you're a Lord of the Rings fan, you may recognise the Argonath, also known as The Gates of Argonath or The Pillars of the Kings; a monument comprising two enormous pillars, carved in the likenesses of Isildur and AnĂ¡rion, standing upon either side of the River Anduin at the northern approach to Nen Hithoel. And yes, I totally copied that from http://lotr.wikia.com/wiki/Argonath. My husband is a big LOtR geek and these are actually book ends that he got with one of the DVDs.

Taken with my Canon PowerShot G12, f/2.8, 1/20 sec., ISO-1600, no flash, camera hand held, shot indoors. Edited with PicMonkey and Photoshop.

366 of 2012 - Day 149

366 of 2012 - Day 149. I'm not sure what this tiny, little wild flower is. It shows up as a weed in my backyard. I think it's pretty.

Taken with my Canon PowerShot G12, f/3.2, 1/160 sec., ISO-125, no flash, camera hand held. Edited with Photoshop.

366 of 2012 - Day 148

366 of 2012 - Day 148. It's POSSIBLE we may have to cut the back lawn soon.

Taken with my Canon PowerShot G12, f/4, 1/25 sec., ISO-125, no flash, camera hand held. Edited with PicMonkey and touched up a bit in Photoshop.

Picaboo's Weekly Challenge is posted here: How To Photograph Your Dad. My dad and my husband would rather be poked in the eye by an energetic 6 y/o than have their photograph taken, so my gift to them, this week, is to NOT take their photos, though I am very proud of the two most amazing men in my life.

366 of 2012 - Day 142

366 of 2012 - Day 142. It's a Weeb! Again. Again. What can I say, she's my favorite subject.

Taken with my Canon PowerShot G12, f/2.8, 1/160 sec., ISO-125, no flash, shot inside, camera hand held. Edited with PicMonkey and touched up a bit in Photoshop - I had to fix the eyes, as I had lightened them too much and it looked absurd.  Weeb picked the butterfly decoration.

Edited with PicMonkey.  I know the eyes and lips are a tad overdone, but I was fooling around with the program and surprised at how easy it is to use!  I was even more surprised that it appears to be a free program without a ton of annoying popup ads or features that you can only use if you pay.

366 of 2012 - Day 137. This is a concrete plant, near where I work. It's another man-made cloud, and certainly not on a cloudy day, but I like the shot in any case.

366 of 2012 - Day 135

366 of 2012 - Day 135. Looks rather like a UFO, doesn't it? This plane was making an awesome jet trail, so I dashed to get my camera. I almost missed it; this thing was FAST! When I opened the file and zoomed in, I had a laugh at how UFOy this looked with the sun reflected off of it; you can hardly see the shape of the plane at all.

Taken with my Canon PowerShot G12 (with my new 58mm lens!), f/6.3, 1/1250 sec., ISO-160, no flash, shot outside, camera hand held. Photoshop edits: Exposure adjustment, Cropping, Text.

Taken with my Canon PowerShot G12, f/2.8, 1/60 sec., ISO-125, no flash, shot outside, camera hand held. Photoshop edits: there were a bunch. I don't think any of them did much, I was just experimenting a bit.
