Any ideas what this is?

Taken with my Canon PowerShot G12, f/2.8, 1/20 sec., ISO-1600, no flash, camera hand held. This is a SOOC aside from the crop and text, which I did in Photoshop.


Give up? It's a forced air heating vent in our home.
